In 2005 Owner Mr. Berne Lamprecht moved to Thailand to start building small boats at Bakri Cono Shipyard. As a family run business Bakri Cono soon grew large enough to take up a factory at Ocean Marina Yacht Club, just 10min drive south from Pattaya.

Once at the Marina Berne found often visitors looking for spares or equipment for their boats and being a buit builder, they often had or could get what the visitors needed. It’s from this willingness to help that ASAP Marine was truly born as a side-line business to the boat building.

The equipments sales soon took up more and more time and finaly in 2008 Berne seperated the Chandlery business from Bakri Cono Co., Ltd. and established the new dedicated trading company. Since parts and accessories weren’t easily available in Pattaya at that time, customers always wanted it As Soon As Possible, thus the name became part of ASAP Marine Trading Co., Ltd.

Today (2013) ASAP Marine has the most stocked Retail shop in Ocean Marina Yacht Club along with a warehouse outside. ASAP Marine employs 7 full time staff and sub-contracts or reffers servicing and installation work to other reputable companies and contractors arround.

The core aim of Berne is to continue the growth and expansion of his company through long-term relations built on quality service and fair pricing of its products.
